Meet the editors – or: what publication strategies are effective?
Prof. Dr. Carmen Baumeler, Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET) and Prof. Dr. Isabelle Mili, University of Geneva
The successful publication of research findings is essential for one’s academic career. For young researchers, it is important to know what scientific journals or publishing houses expect, what strategies ensure the publication of research and how to deal with criticism or even rejection within the peer review process.
The planned pre-conference for young researchers is devoted to the theme «Meet the editors – or: what publication strategies are effective?» At this event, participants will be given in-depth information and will have the opportunity to talk with experienced researchers, editors of journals and representatives of publishing houses who are active in the field of education research.
Furthermore, a work-shop is planned, where young researchers learn to evaluate scientific work themselves.
